Imperilled 07:50
The moonlight shines upon flowing leaves in the deep shroud. The wind rakes streaks of crimson from my old and drying eyes. And I see a face visiting, descending from the periphery. Its tender lips kiss my frozen heart. Awakens my love, revives my fears. A caress leaves me terrified, slither ascending from my back that tells me I am not worthy. My heart bleeds hot and raw. I am wont to offer it to the mercy of your grace. For I must know that I am imperilled, so far from this death I had known. For in stone I have long slept, entombed from this grace so perilous. The leaf falls into my hand, gold and dying and I know I have seen it before. The fears come as the walls melt away from my frozen heart... The scars upon my wrists beg me to evade your touch, yet this newfound warmth so inviting, beckons me the other way... Surely, they must not know of the fiend that I have fashioned. In the gloom, it sits, can’t they see? Of knotted bone and festering hatred? Do I not see the way you are? Do you not see the way I am? What is it truly that lurks below, if not the ugliness of man? It is the fear that drives us. It is the fear that taunts us. It is the fear that pains us. It is the fear that drives us. We run from what it is that brings us hope. What stands between the self and its salvation. Tie your tie. Lie your lie. Think that anything won’t succumb to time. Could you really save me now? Could you really bring me rapture? Will the fear enslave me now? Is there any sense in praying? A caress leaves me terrified, slither ascending from my back that tells me I am not worthy. My heart bleeds hot and raw. I am wont to offer it to the mercy of your grace. For I must know that I am imperilled, so far from this death I had known. For in stone I have long slept, entombed from this grace so perilous. The leaf falls into my hand, gold and dying and I know I have seen it before... Before...

We fell into this world - we never did choose. We dance an eternal waltz, hand in hand with our coming loss. Don't dare to hope... Are the pages all written by a hand not quite our own? Would I ever dare to hope, for a path away from the dark? No animal could ever be so savage and heartless as our kind. This poison that flows through our veins, once flowed in the springs of Eden. The gifts bestowed, discarded in favour of carnal lust. Truly a miracle... earthbound, is the blood of our kin. Earthbound is the blood of our kin. Forever ensconced in the mire. Fears lay nailed to the crucifix, cleansed in the afterglow. No animal could ever be so savage and heartless as our kind. This poison that flows through our veins, once flowed in the springs of Eden.

Gothic 04:51
Denying our restlessness, frustrations tension eludes. The past was clean, where thoughts were mild, the present day horrors alive. Slowly passing timeless horrors... Lives within all fear, the mourning in my tears. Drown all the past. We lived beneath these years. Awaiting for the call for all life to expire. Passive to this day, to infinity we'll fall. The light is dim before us, shadows appear and fall. A barrage of savage ways, only the darkness can filter through. Awaiting for the call for all life to expire. Passive to this day, to infinity we'll fall. Lives within all fear, the mourning in my tears. Drown all the past. We lived beneath these years.
